The most important charge for any community is to support its citizen and in doing so a community should provide resources that inform and strengthen families. Often times even with the world wide web, it is difficult to find the resources. One of the major purposes for this site is to publish resources in education, assessments, rehabilitation and counseling for children, adolescents and families.

About Brown FACES, LLC

Brown FACES, LLC is an organization that focuses on empowering families to gain assessment, counseling and educational services for their children and adolescents. The organization was founded by Audrey A. Lucas Brown, Ph.D., LCPC, a retired professor, professional counselor, counselor supervisor and school psychologist with over 25 years of experience working with graduate students, counselors, children, adolescents and families.

Dr. Lucas Brown noticed a need for a website that provided families with information and resources that helped their children flourish educationally and get support for mental health wellness. She conducts research on the current services provided in the Washington, Maryland and Virginia communities and responds to parents’ requests for additional information and referrals. She researches pertinent legislation regarding education, support services and parent’s rights.
